Balgowlah House

This substantial renovation project in Balgowlah, designed in collaboration with Fifth Seasons Landscape Architects, aimed to breathe new life into a dated property. The goal was to create a resort-style home that also incorporated the elegance of French provincial design. Shutters and other refined architectural elements were used to reimagine the home's exterior, giving it a fresh look and creating timeless appeal.

To make the most of the sloping block, a tiered approach was used to design the home’s outdoor areas, creating multi-zoned areas that seamlessly flowed together. The design included carefully placed steps, lush gardens, decks, and a pool area, transforming a previously lacklustre outdoor space into a relaxing retreat. 

Inside, the kitchen also underwent a complete renovation, bringing it up to date with a blend of marble and timber veneers. These natural materials were chosen to create an air of sophistication and resort-inspired luxury while elevating the overall design of the space.
