Turramurra House

The renovation of this 1930s federation-style home was designed to honour its rich heritage. The client expressed a strong desire to preserve much of the home's original woodwork, and this was achieved by seamlessly blending these historical features with modern design elements, creating a perfect balance between old and new.

A key aspect of the project was the design and construction of a spacious rear extension with a striking full-height pitched roof, along with a new open-plan layout for the kitchen, dining, and living areas to create a more seamless flow between spaces. Soft timbers and a refined, minimalist colour palette were chosen for a modern aesthetic, with meticulously crafted joinery used throughout.

In addition to the interior transformation, the project also involved the addition of a large pool and entertaining terrace at the rear of the property. This outdoor space was designed to complement the rear extension with a new area for relaxation and socialising.
