Manly Apartment

Tucked away inside an unassuming 1950s, yellow-brick era block of 18 units near the East Esplanade of Manly Beach, the Manly Apartment is the epitome of style and sophistication. This modernisation project aimed to transform a small, dated apartment, taking it from retro to refined.

Clean lines, minimalism, and light neutral tones have been used throughout to seamlessly connect the home’s living areas, whilst still creating an airy, open feel within a small space. Set against a crisp backdrop of textured rendered walls, minimalist cabinetry elements create a focal point for the home, whilst adding an element of practicality through the clever use of space. Floating joinery units with brass accents and soft timber veneers beautifully complement natural stone features, including a custom kitchen sink, bathroom basin, and coffee table.

Through contemporary design elements made for modern apartment-style living, this project by Deuchrass Architects blends style and practicality to create a stylish space that exudes quiet elegance at every touchpoint.
